Warp-Faced Band with Pick-Up. This is the same technique as the purple and black Warp-Faced Band shown on a separate gallery page. It was also woven on my table loom in an inkle weaving style. The loom is threaded with one color on shafts 1 and 3 and a second color on shafts 2 and 4 in plain weave and you do NOT use the reed. The difference between this band and the black/purple band is that this one utilizes the pick-up technique to form the diamond outlines, solid diamond variation, basket weave and X figures on the face of the band.
