Mom's Shawl (Woven). I made this shawl for my Mom for Christmas. It was my first "real" project on my floor loom. This is my mom modeling the shawl. It's a 2/2 twill. The warp is two slightly different shades of red wool. The weft is a silk/wool blend. Maybe you can see what I am talking about in the detail pictures below..... |
