Ken, Mary & The Farm

Fancy Fibers Farm is a family farm where Mary raises alpacas, goats, sheep, and rabbits for their beautiful fibers and Ken raises pastured, cage-free chickens for fun and fresh eggs.

We invite you to become a part of our farm by visiting or working with us and our animals, through our CSA, or by purchasing our products online, at craft festivals, or in our Farm Store.

Come try your hand at being a fiber farmer! We look forward to your company!

In Person: While we love have visitors at the Farm, we do ask that you call and make arrangements FIRST!

You can find the Fancy Fibers Farm at:
350 County Road 699
Farmersville, TX 75442

Search for us as “Fancy Fibers Farm” on Google Maps! No need to type in the address!

Directions: One way or another, get yourself to I-75 in McKinney. Take the exit for Highway 380 and go east (toward Greenville).  Watch your speed carefully! The Texas DPS patrols this road, and the speed limit changes many times between McKinney and our road!

You will travel approximately 25 miles, headed east, on Highway 380. You will drive out of McKinney, through Princeton, and through Farmersville.

If you are an odometer sort of person, our road is 3-1/2 miles from the Dairy Queen.

Otherwise, watch for Brushy Creek. Once you cross the bridge at Brushy Creek, our road is the next road to the left.  You will see a yellow sign that indicates a T-road that crosses a railroad track, and you will see the Hunt County marker.  Exactly AT the Hunt County marker, turn north onto County Road 699. (More landmarks: If you get to the Valero station, you’ve gone too far. If you turn south instead of north, you will be on CR 698 which is the wrong road.)

Fancy Fibers Farm is the second place on the right after you turn onto CR 699.  It’s not far; we can see the intersection at Highway 380 from our front porch!

However you decide to contact us,
we look forward to hearing from you!
