Cottolin Kitchen Towels.
I love giving handwoven gifts. A very special man
in my life is the man who has, for the better part of the last 18
years, cut and colored my hair (in lots of different colors), listened to
.my secrets, and seen me through more than one crisis brought about by job
changes, location changes, relationship changes, and graduate school.
Recently he and his partner were transferred [in his spare time, he's a flight
attendant] and had to move away. Lucky for me, he flies back to Dallas
twice every month to do hair, including mine! This change in residence, of
course, required a housewarming gift!!! Such was the occasion for the
creation of these kitchen towels. Dale picked the color (to match his
kitchen) and the pattern. How much more perfect of a gift could they
